4.25.2005 After a week with no problems, the horizontal static issue returns. The techs finally come, plug in a gizmo and check it out: It doesn't do anything wrong for half an hour. Again, the nearby tower is blamed for interference. That, or "grounding," though the TV is a two-pronger, not grounded at all. My only recourse may be to relocate the TV to another room.
